EXO gives Aston Martin DB10 licence to shine

Gtechniq’s Northern Irish Accredited Detailer was recently given the opportunity to lay his wash mitts on the Aston Martin DB10, as featured in the latest 007 movie 'Spectre'.

Mark Smiley, owner of Total Perfection Detailing, based in Ballymena, was asked to protect the Bond babe magnet from dust during its recent appearance in the 'Clarkson, Hammond and May Live Show', at the O2 Arena, London, UK.

Mark Smiley, said: “I have worked with Top Gear for a number of years helping to keep cars looking fantastic before their debut appearances and was honoured when I was asked to do something to protect the DB10. In my career so far I have had the chance to work with some fantastic machines, this one is certainly one of the best.”

Manufacturers of the show-stopping Aston Martin asked Mark to protect the car from the dust at the 02 arena where the show formerly known as 'Top Gear Live' was being held.

Mark added: “They wanted something put on the car that would help maintain the candy-like gloss and stop the car’s finish being tarnished by the environment within the arena – so I presented them with Gtechniq EXO.”

EXO Ultra Durable Hybrid Coating provided the carbon fibre body of the DB10 with an invisible layer of hydrophobic protection, offering maximum dirt repellence and the ultimate glossy finish, to the already exceptionally finished car.
